The Posh Noel

1. Faux Fur Throw

A throw can be used in many areas throughout the home, and faux fur adds instant sophistication during the holiday season. Not only will this be decorative, but it will also be functional and cozy during holiday gatherings.

2. Green & Gold Porcelain Lamp

Perfect for the holiday season and beyond – incorporating bold porcelain colors presents an updated style to a classic form. A striking color will complement a room of neutrals and set the tone for the holidays.

3. Holiday Nest Fragrances

These fragrances present aromas of a wintery pine forest or a sparkling holiday season. Burning a holiday candle will bring a sense of nostalgia to your home and makes the perfect host/hostess gift!

2. Presents for Place Settings

Look to china patterns for inspiration when decorating your mantle or sideboard. These Old Imari dessert plates by Royal Crown Derby would pair wonderfully with some holly sprigs, pine, or poinsettias.

Classically Christmas

1. Angels

If you love angels like I do, use them in different sizes, grouped together on a tabletop or credenza with greenery and tiny lights. Choose silver, gold, or white if you want the lights to really bring them to life.

2. Glitzy Ornaments

Use a dozen or so and suspend them with something translucent, like fishing line, from your dining room chandelier. This is an easy and inexpensive way to add lots of sparkle!

3. Christmas Trees

Use several different trees as a tabletop decoration. Silver or mercury glass makes a beautiful display. Use silver greenery as a base to set them in. This is an easy and beautiful décor piece for dining tables or buffets.

For the Birds!

1. Treetop Topiaries

Fill urns with floral foam and stand a small branch upright. Cover the top of the urn with moss, and adorn your miniature trees with aviary figurines, hung with thin ribbon. Works wonderfully on any table to add height.

2. Perching Packages

For an organically gorgeous gift wrap idea, try simple brown boxes and let the trimmings take center stage. Embellish with a few twigs and sprigs of greenery tied together, and top with fledgling figurines.

3. Birds of a Feather

Cluster an assortment of bud vases on either side of a greenery-lined bowl to spread your centerpiece further. Here, bud vases tethered to robin statuettes and others trimmed in decorative feathers and greenery create a continuous theme with fun variations!
